  • I'm happy to see a new video.. Are you still going to do the remake of how to make pants?

  • @ThingsofMay I should make a better "pants" video. But first I want to do a part 2 to the "basic skirt" I left everybody hanging!

  • I didn't quite get how to make the front part of this sweater. So, where do you decrease? In the second to last stitch?

  • @maritere999 For the front part of the cozy wrap sweater you start decreasing at the part you want the triangle to become a rectangle (or square). So when the triangle is wide enough for your taste (in my case 89 stitches) you start the row out by knitting two stitches together and increasing one stitch at the end. The return rows just knit without any increaes or decreases. Then when the rectangle is tall enough start EVERY row by knitting two stitches together at the beginning.

  • @maritere999 You can test it out on a small piece first, to get the idea. Knit a triangle up to about only 10 or 15 stitches and then start decreasing.by knitting 2 stitches together at the beginning of each row, The result will be a square with diagonal design. If you decrease on only one side and increase on the other for a few rows and THEN start knitting two stitches together at the beginning of each row you will end up with a rectangle.

  • @maritere999 One more thing. If you want that slanty "v" look you start closing of to leave that edge like I did in the video. You knit two stitches and then slip the bottom stitch over the top one and keep going until there are no more stitches left. I haven´t done a video on that yet but there are a lot of them on youtube for "closing off". Thank you so much for watching!
