Swan's Japanese Horror Reviews 11: Reincarnation

Review of Takashi Shimizu's 2005 j-horror hit Reincarnation (輪廻). This is a very solid ghost story that while it doesn't totally take the genre in new places, it does a satisfying job in creating a good film. This modern japanese horror has been compared to the likes of Shimizu's other works on Ju-On (the grudge) and even The Shining.

This was the third film in the 'j-horror theater' following infection (episode 6) and premonition (haven't reviewed that one yet). There are 3 more planned films, but there has been no word since this one was released about the status of the remaining films.

I saw this movie 3 times

I remembered I was with my friend

at her house and at night we both watched

the whole movie and near the ending of the movie I almost cried when I saw that doll showing her freaky scary looking face to the girl who tried to kill herself

O-o but the movie was pretty good xD

i just watched this movie yesterday and it really is a good movie i suggest to watch it at night, you will feel as if theres a ghost next to.
