Dr Alexander Kumar braved the icy-cold outdoor temperatures of the Antarctic to bring us this message of support for Guide Dogs Week 2012, (http://www.guidedogs.org.uk) while also discussing the role that dogs have played over the last 100 years of Polar Exploration.

Dr Kumar is a British Medical Doctor overwintering in Antarctica at Concordia Research Station - conducting research for ESA for a future mission to Mars. Visit http://www.AlexanderKumar.com to find out more about this extraordinary expedition.
