@Avitinyourface Yes, Dr. Peale was a Universalist. He believed that God expressed himself in many ways and "was too big to be strait-iacketed" by human made religions. (NVP on Phil Donahue Show-1984).

"You Can If You Think You Can" is my favourite of Vincent Peale's books. To fill people with Joy and Hope and Victory. I love his wife's description of a Mountain Top Experience - their holiday in Zermatt, Switzerland. If ever you need a lift, pick up a copy and read that. I love the understanding of our problems and the joy that shines out his books. God bless Norman Vincent Ple.

If you look at Dr Peale in this video and see that he is quite lucid and alert for a man in his nineties, that's testimony to The Power of Positive Thinking.

I ave been reading Norman Vincent Peale's books since I was 19.
I am now fifty and he remains an ispiration to me.
He was a truly remarkable an and his positive spirit lives on.
