If you are a beginner doumbek player, learn the basics before you learn this. Have a clean, consistent doum, tak, ka and sek , then you can start to learn this stuff.

I love your video and your enthusiasm which is contagious. Can I ask you a specific question? I'm a beginner dumbek player and want to ask if I understand you right. With the low low low ..It's one finger at a time, always to your left first with the outside of the three fingers, then to your right with your middle finger, then to the left with the other finger, then you move your hand back into position while you slap to start again. Is that right? Keep up the videos, thank you.
