  • Didn't it have the Columbia Pictures Television logo before the DEG logo?

  • No. That was the television version. The DVD only had these 2 logos.

  • Yo, DEG, Rank wants their gong man back! Yo, Marvel and Sunbow, Lucasfilmk wants their lightsaber back! :D

  • @Gilmoreboy2007 Maximum Overdrive has it.

  • I still have to see something else that has the DEG lion. I have only seen it on "Transformers The Movie" Anyone know of any other movie that has that logo?

  • Every time I see this logo I think about my child hood and being at the movies seeing TRANSFORMERS the Movie for the first time, when you see this Logo you know some serious shit is about to start :D

  • I'm sure you'll find it elsewhere on Youtube.

  • That makes sense.

  • If only they had their own video distribution company, but they didn't. Same with Marvel too.

  • Wow! The "DEG" Lion for the De Laurentiis Entertainment Group. I haven't seen that in years. Also, on the original release of Transformers the Movie (1986) there was no sound during the Sunbow/Marvel logo. Go fig.

  • 5/5. Good logo. I. FREAKIN'. LOVE. TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE (1986). It's very superior to the Michael Bay version, and like many others, I also absolutely HATE Michael Bay. I have a clip from Transformers: The Movie.

  • Earlier DVDs had the Rank Film Distributors Gongman (all the Rhino DVD releases were mastered from British PAL prints;the DEG logo was original to the North American theatrical release)at the start;the 20th Anniversary DVD reinstated the DEG logo but forgot to remove the Rank audio during the mastering.
