Tetsujin 28 Godaikin comes out of the box to play. Enjoy the video review from www.robot-japan.com . Revison clarification help from E.S.: "The "Chokinzoku" is what the larger deluxe (17inch) Tetsujin 28 toy made by Popy in 1981 is. POPY by the way, is not a subsidiary of Bandai but only later became, toward the end of it's life, a Bandai property."

  • edwardt28: Does any of you friends say that your voice sounds like Jermey from Destroy All PodcastsDX?

    -R78

  • No, not until now. Maybe it is because we both broadcast from a bathroom ;) No....interesting. I feel my lower voice gets "clipped" and overtones don't make it to the recording. Oh well ;)

  • Thanks for the review, much appreciated!

Except for sounding like your in a bath room, Your voice comes through quite good!

The rotating base is a nice little touch!

    Overall, It's an excellent review!

You reviewed it in a concise manner without glossing over details.

  • Thanks for the input. Yeah, I am in a tiled room...go figure. Possibly I'll get a clip on mic soon.

  • Is it really bad to just use bare hands? Or is the metal and chrome bad that fingerprints mess it up?

  • Sweet! I collect a lot of the vintage japanese robot stuff myself. Shogun Warriors mostly. I subbed.
