  • @djmz1969 I think you'll find it was Kevin Saunderson and not Frankie Knuckles, Frankie Knuckles plays house not techno, he played an important role in the development of house music and he's not from Detroit, he's from New York, next time you think of making a statement like that, think first!

  • i say i'm an atheist but i'm actually a pagan. my god is big speakers and bangin techno music.

  • looks like EX playing :)

  • @putumayoman The main track that Derrick May is playing is "Ascension" by Underground Resistance

  • Not All True ,you had Luuomo's and Cheeks 1982 .Techno was picked up early especially on the College scene as well. You had the Bellville three playing , Jeff Mills was playing the Nectarine Ballroom in Ann Arbor and a host of DJ'S at the Outer limits at Mich State. This was 1983 -1984. I did not start really hearing "BANGIN" CHi Town tracks until 1982 or so. Juan atkins alleys of your mind was out in the early , early Eighties around the time of PLanet Rock in 1982.

  • Does anyone know the name of the track or tracks in this video clip. Thank you.

  • How many thumbs I got? 2 down.

  • frankie knuckles was not involved in the creation of techno. however, defending the guy who said that, very early detroit techno (when it wasn't even called techno) was seen as a satellite genre of the chicago house movement. early techno tracks from detroit would be given to frankie knuckles and ron hardy to be tested at places like the music box. frankie never got into it and stuck with disco but the early techno was linked to the chicago scene. detroit's scene was nonexistent at the time.

  • que mesa es

  • @djmz1969 juan atkins , derrick may and kevin saunderson are the inventors of techno !
