@KaptainKoolz The manual says to CHANGE the plug after each race.It sucks to foul a plug miles from the trailer!I try to carry a plug and wrench with me at all times!Plugs are $3 a piece!Best to change after each hard ride!

@timw1959 After tearing it apart a few weeks ago,I found it was loaded up bad!!Completely re-did the carb. and now runs like new!Honed cylinder and new rings and all!

@timw1959 i dont have to to this at all? to cold start mine i use all choke no throttle and it starts up 1st or 2nd kick.
then when it is warm just alittle bit of throttle.

I have trouble starting mine sometimes... is there a trick to it? looks like you turned the gas on, choked it, and kicked. Give it any throttle?

@91pielage Did you ever get your hard starting problem fixed?Last winter 2010-2011,I had the top end done and tuned to a T.It starts first or sometimes when cold,second kick and idles all day long.As well as kicking it easy.It's truely awesome!I LOVE my rm250 2 stroke!
