I am just out of my swimming pool and enjoying the feeling of thinking clearer, relaxation and being cool. "Life is Good", I also mention that I got my official letter from the SSA regarding SSDI. It took forever! Don't give up. And if you have MS, try to stay cool!

  • The reason my mom didn't go to a lawyer at first was b/c she thought she had to have money to pay them and she didn't. Lawyers and Disability Representation Services will not get paid unless you get paid. And, by law they are only able to take a certain amount.

  • A word of advice to anyone filing for disability is to go through a lawyer or a SS Disability Representation service to help you. My friend (who got approved on the first time) went through Allsup (which is the place I am going through). My mom didn't go through them but she went through a local disability lawyer. It wasn't until she went through the lawyer did she get approved.

  • Awwe cute cat. It looks like mine. I have two; Reggie and Katy. Sometimes my cats help the stress but sometimes they frustrate me when I am trying to take a nap and they hit me in the face lol.

I have MS too. I am in the process of filing for disability. I know it took my mom 4 years to get approved (she does not have MS). I have a friend with MS and he was approved on the first try. I am hoping I will get approved on the first try.

  • "Life w/o cats is not worth leaving" how right you are I have two girls Lola and Flora.

  • Hi, Can I suggest this is link to MSWorld: tinyurlDOTcom/2x386r (replace the DOT with a dot), where a lot of people are talking about an MS drug (Tysabri) that I am waiting for - except I have Crohn's, not MS - I have to wait longer. The numbers are twice as strong as any interferon, and some people are walking who have not walked in years. Good Luck to you, and yes stay cool in the summer.
