@RattySoup I agree. Pets are a big responsibility and its sad and cruel that so many people don't understand this and treat animals as a novelty, which they most certainly are not.

lol yes, and dogs are DOMESTICATED... Exotic animals belong in the WILD.

To all you PETA fags out there... I want to capture every animal in the universe, starve them half to death locked in a cage, sexually assault them, make them wear sweaters, burn them alive and eat them. :)

@Caro2471 Have you even seen a pure chihuahua in person. They are always cold and shivering.
-
@IKillTV23 They get cold easily being tropical so they don't mind the clothes. They can easily get out of them if they want to anyway.

@REXANOEXOTICS I really don't think an anteater would enjoy wearing a t-shirt! You try and justify these actions with examples that are totally irrelevant all because you don't want to face the fact that these people are treating these creatures as possesions.
-
I believe that any animal that has to live behind bars or glass is being deprived, that goes for reptiles and smaller mammals as well. People who think it's okay to do that sort of thing obviously have issues with thier self image. If you really "loved" these creatures, you wouldn't lock them up for your own amusement and pretend like everything was alright. It's not. You're doing a great injustice to these animals, and they will retaliate when you least expect it. It's not cute, so stop it!
-
ok, so let's move them all to your backyard in the middle of missouri?

@REXANOEXOTICS You can support tigers in other ways. It's better if you support the tigers at the zoo than to have one as a pet and "help"it. It's just a dumb excuse. It's what's good for the tiger (!), not people's obsessions with owning some exotic pets and then not being able to care for it properly. There are those who do succeed, but the vast majority doesn't. If you really love the animals (most of them) you wouldn't keep them as pets to begin with.
Wild & Domesticated - not the same!

@Caro2471 AGREED!!

I can imagine why you think that. And I have a lot more respect for being so consistent instead of saying: well, these animals you can keep as pets, while these other animals you can't keep as pets. In my opinion its either all of them or none of them.
I agree that it's okay to buy an exotic pet if you're responsible, but animals put in shirts isn't a great way to prove your point. That's just as stupid and mean as making a chihuahua wearing clothes. They have fur for a reason!

@Caro2471I think in most cases, the animals wear the clothes only for the cute photo-op.:-) But I heard from somebody with chimpanzee experience, that the chimps enjoyed wearing sweaters in cold weather.

Tigers should not be placed in backyards.... I am amazed that people find this shit entertaining. If you have so much respect and reverence for these animals, leave them in their natural environment. Tigers are majestic creatures, they belong in the WILD, not in a backyard of a suburban Texas asshole. Wild animals simply belong in their natural habitat, not in a cage in your basement for amusement. Dogs and cats are domesticated for a reason!
