  • How do I make my flash movie play until a certain frame and just stop there without using buttons, I am making a quiz game and I need it to stop at the main menu and not just commence into the game. How do i fix this?

  • lets get going at 9:25

  • this guy talks so slow

  • It is true, if you are dedicated you can teach yourself anything. Thanks to the internet and the kind folk that make tutorials such as these we are able to benefit. I am currently in College. After almost every class I come here to youtube and really start the learning process.

  • Have you done any tutorials on flash variables?

  • @marduv I'm a junior in college and I learned more on youtube than in class

  • @McMintro My siblings went to some of the best schools in the world, they came out with less that I will purely because I thrive off learning. Most of the top universities offer online versions of their courses so these days its not hard to get a good idea about the levels and standards of education you can receive. What I have noticed more and more is that I have found online resources that match and better that standard. If you havent then well that might be why you feel like that.

  • @McMintro No i didn't, I was said that because there are industries which still regard degrees over a proven ability or aptitude. For those things a degree is still a good way to get into the career, for all else its a good opportunity to have some time to develop yourself.

The people that get most from university in my experience are the ones that do the most extra curricular learning. The autodidacts that would other wise be learning anyway but have no got more time afforded to them to do so.

  • But, you aren't enrolled in a full-course. The lectures are more of a sample, not an entire course.

  • @sacredgeometry Yes, "most cases", As in "it depends on what university you attend". You just basically denied I was correct before, but confirmed that I was right.
