  • i freaking hate my life right now. a new set of bites everyday and the stupid landlord won't do anyhting cuz he claims he cant find any signs of them. i never noticed how amazing my life was before this curse was put upon me.

  • @BlueSidePark hi, sorry for the slow reply but without confirming signs its hard to know what and where to treat. Have you looked at monitors as a way of confirming. I invented the passive bedbug monitor a few years ago which can help in treatment in some cases, see the advanced educational section of our website for details.

  • Stop talking and ACT !!!!, bed bugs are huge problem!, And it is not making small meeting that will change anything, we must act quickly, already we have lost control, now more than we must remove once and for all the bed bug.

  • @pinonoir302 I could not agree more, I have been calling for public education about bedbugs since 2003 and initially started my website as a public information site which grew into an extermination business. Sadly the message of proactive monitoring is lost on most people as they still don't see that it could happen to them.

  • It really friggin ANNOYS me as to how light they seem to make this sound and even a little joke in every news show. Well when one of them get the things, I'd love to see how they joke b/c it's traumatizing and takes a horrible psychological effect let alone not sleeping for 3months. it's a nightmare and a job and a half just preppeing for the job. Put the old chemical once used when a 1 time treatment did it for bed bugs and fleas. We have to erradicste them again!

  • @kellinonu I sadly bedbugs have grown acclimatised and tolerant to many of the older chemicals in the same way antibiotics now fail. This is why early detection is so important when you don't have to reply upon chemicals of any type.

Education and avoidance as well as early detection are the sharpest tools int he war on bedbugs.

  • I'm glad we don't really have them where I live, I can live with dustmites all over my bed but I couldn't take a night sleeping among bed bugs.

  • @ProtectABedTV not it would not be wise to travel with a cover. It would be sensible to check when you travel. Ecasements don't prevent bedbugs only education and people can do that. There is no added benefit to a bedbug encasement than a more cost effective dust mite on in bedbug prevention and early detection. See BedBugBeware,dot.com for the long hand logic.

  • Would it be wise to take a cover with you whenever you travel?

  • @bluecontrast sorry to tell you this but they are everywhere now. International travel is all it took and unless NOBODY travels to eastern Europe, you too can bet that they are there. Just don't remain in state of denial so you aren't caught off guard. i dn't go to movie theatres, or even e.rooms unless dire emergency. they are in hospitals, dr.waiting rooms. even dept stores-EVERYWHERE. Good luckl
