This is a customers guitar body that he wanted a neck making for. preferring the wider neck pocket for more "inboard" from the edge of the fingerboard strings we tooled and jigged for making this happen in a precision mannner for perfect alignment with its new neck. Yes, we could have sanded the neck pocket out, but we have a CNC machine !
not for the faint hearted, the customer was present and recording the whole thing.. pretty soon it will be back with him and playing!

  • I thought Jaden Rose wasn't doing stuff like this any longer.....I thought Jaden Rose was focusing on building complete guitars only. I need a lefty 7 string neck made for a Custom Chris Woods UV body. Chris doesn't do "parts" anymore. ET Guitars is too busy. Ibanez doesn't offer a lefty 7 string anymore so I can't source factory parts. It seems like NOBODY does parts anymore. Only complete guitars. I only need a neck.

  • @Billyhadley1965yeah - hi Billy, no thats right, we have not done any clone parts for a long time. the bodies in the video were not made by us anyway, just remachined. I have no idea who makes parts these days but just the fact that no-one is doing them anymore tells you something ;)

  • it's a left handed body no?

  • @kevlebmxeur - yep, lefty!

  • the machine is a K2 CNC

  • good question, the neck pocket was the older 65mm size and the customer wanted the new 68mm neck heel.
