This product is now produced and marketed by CNCA Laser.

inspeck has good scanners but the booth is not reliable.

if i were to franchise this product, how much will it cost me? i've been thinking of this since last year.. I just don't know how to start and where to get the booth. I have thought of a 3D photobooth and never thought this possible until I saw this.

It's a optical 3D Scanner, which projects bars of light on the subject well several cameras capture the light pattern and produce a quick model. Then, I believe two, laser beams are projected into a block of acrylic material, and where the beams cross, enough energy is absorbed to make the plastic melt, producing a bubble. If you control the size of the bubble and do this about 100,000 to a Million times, you can get a nice 3D model inside the plastic.
