i remember when i was little, a road in my neighborhood that went from the entrance to the gates was unpaved for a long time and it was just dirt/gravel/dust
when it was finally paved it looked brand new and was so smooth. you know how the color of a new road looks? its black and it was so smooth when i was in my dad's jeepney when we drove on it for the first time. i really liked the road and today i realize i was very thankful/grateful just for something that may be unnoticeable

A newly paved road is really remarkable huh? It's something people in the US take for granted. But nom, cement and only cement. Asphalt and tarmac are the norm here. But I miss cemented roads. :D

damn I wish I was in my mothers hometown right now to make a vid response to this, I'd have a similar story that beats this Gerry. There's a dirt road in front of my cousins house, one year when I was there FINALLY they started making it concrete, I thought BRILLIANT, when I get back next year it will be finished.... when I got back the next year I found all they built was like 10 feet of it and stoppped... I'm uploading a vid now so I'll prolly try tell that story next vid in a few days
