Whoa.. that poor dude died.. but to play Devil's advocate... that dude is like 52 years old at that time. Also, Hill Billy Jim should have NEVER pick up Little Beaver in the first place, causing problems for his back.
Boy... poor little wrestlers standing by... watching the whole thing in horro.
Do you think any wrestling event would sell 90,000 tickets nowadays? Lack of decent character development and the boom of UFC makes me say a big fat NO.
they didnt sell 90,000 it was actually 78,000...and yes they can repeat it, they sold 74,000 in 2007 and 2008 for WM. april 28-29, 1995 they sold 340k in north korea. theres more but you get the idea, they can and have done it any decade.
i beg to differ on the ufc part. real fights, real blood, real knockouts. real entertaining. rasslin' is a whole lotta fun, but ufc must have taken some fans away from it.
north korea? are you serious? do you mean south korea? japan? china? 340K in pyongyong?
i know im in the minority on the ufc thing, i liked it in the early 90's when it was a actual cagefight, now its so bogged down with rules they are barely allowed to touch each other. plus ive seen enough fights to prove to me at least that it is predetermined who will win. again just my opinion....
that sh*t IS crazy! i lived in south korea for a while and one of the people at my place of employment came down a river on a raft from the north and into the south with his dad. that was only a few years ago. he said that it was bad there. i wonder if getting the 340K there was a propaganda thing...?
wow you lived in south korea? i try to absorb everything i can about north korea, watch all the videos, propaganda posters, kim jong il movies, etc. i could pick your brain with questions all day lol.
and yeah im sure it was probably not an option to miss the wwe show in pyongyang. it was in 1995. at the same time, i see alot of anti NK propaganda but not a whole lot of proof. the currentTV girls werent killed, clinton wasnt taken when he got them released, wwe shows...not really nuts IMO...
