    You don't want to hold a fish by the gills. Instead on most species it works well to slide your fingers up under the gill cover. But never touch the gills themselves.

    kinney lake!? looks like you guys are out a few feet from the old landing "eh?" i have caught my biggest trout out of green lake but kinney is by far the best for numbers.

    This last weekend we fished northeast Minnesota designated trout lakes. Nothing cooler than watching a rainbow smash your lure 5 feet below the ice!!! Unbelievably fun fish to catch!!! Your videos keep me fired up for my next outing!! Thanks!!!
