"A chosen people, royal priesthood, a holy nation" The book of 1 Peter is of course written to the dispersed Jews. Not to gentiles. He uses that language because he is writing to the jews. Not really helping your argument there Hank.

Read Romans 2:28-29 He is not a JEW who is one outwardly, whose circumcision is of the flesh, but He is a JEW who is one inwardly Whose circumcision is of the heart.

Romans 4 - 'All who have faith are of their Father Abraham' (Paraphrased).

OT full of types and symbols, Israel is a Type/Symbol of the Church in the NT.

Conclusion: If you are saved you are a Jew and Israel in the spiritual sense, not physical.

Last Read Matthew 21:33-44 Christ says the kingdom is no longer theirs, forever!

AW Pink did start out believing in dispensationalism, however he wound up covenantal after a few years, also my experience. Read his biography by Iain Murray -- it's very interesting -- enjoy!

@DIVINESOTERIOLOGY I take it to mean physical Israelites. But remember that Paul qualifies in Romans 9 the "not all Israel is Israel", only the ones God chooses. Sometimes Paul goes back and forth with the words "Israel" and "Church", but I don't think so in Romans 11. God bless
