Well, with all respect, we believe that Alf's chart is correct. Sorry if you are hearing differently, but what is charted here makes perfect sense to us. When said how it's played on guitar, I had meant what pitch it's played at, not the finger positioning. By terms of sound, the note mapping seems right and that is the stance we stand by.

It is cool to see the older stuff on GH. They started out as heavy metal, then became the hair band in the 80's. The still rock after all these years. Best albums ever were High and Dry, On through the Night and Pyro. Retro went back to the roots. I also loved Hysteria. Slang was a waste.

i'm sort of offended that you would call them pop metal...Mr. Sexy Elliott himself considers the band to be ROCK N'ROLL. the brittish heavy metal era is the era they came OUT of, not what they are...anyway, its the best Shit ever!! Rock on DL!!

They were part of the NWOBHM, true. But they also were leaders of the pack for the pop metal scene. They may not agree with not being called pop metal, but regardless of what they want it's what they are.
