Jenova*LIFE

Have to make sure Tifa's HP get critical, either Jenova attacks her twice or I help out with 1/2 Molotovs.

After that I use Deathblow and Cross-Slash. Then 2 more D. Blow while she is paralyzed. OVER!

Looks very easy, but Jenova has the highest evade of all the Bosses and you have to replay several minutes between each attempt.
On the bright side, while she is paralyzed D.Blow will never (or almost never, didn't check that) miss because your Att% is upped as if you were using a 255% Weapon.

Also, Aqualung = Game Over.

I'm at this part on my speedrun. In addition to Aqualung frequently wiping me out, and Tifa not taking a hit from Jenova most of the other times, I noticed that sometimes, the Molotov didn't seem to be doing damage to Tifa. Turns out I still had Cover on Cloud, and he was blocking the Molotov... whoops! I guess I'll redo the last section so I can give it back to Cait.

Yeah it's already pretty tricky to get the beginning right, but the real problem is not missing with any of the DB's....well that's if you're doing a "perfect" run at least....anyway, best of luck! ;)

I just want to point out, that it depends how you measure (we usually count from the moment the ATB bars starts to move until the frame the enemy is defeated, i.e. no death animation). But the real issue here is that my vids are no good to measure the time... the recording slows down the emu a bit, i.e. my vids are "slower" ^.^
