@BlazyJon That's not a relevant question. Religions say we exist because of God. Existence exists because of God. (if you keep this train of thought) How did God come into existence? You could argue, God thought himself into existence but how could something think before it existed. If you're a thinking person, no matter which way you come at it, you can't escape the ultimate question... Who.... made.... God?

Euthansia. This is the one that ultimately turned me Christian. I had to read a book a couple yrs ago called 'angels of death'. It was about the currently widespread practice of illegal euthanasia. Apparently the majority of euthanised people are young HIV patents.

Your argument is circular, you are using the physical world to prove the physical world.

Your friends could very well be part of your delusional "reality" and not be real at all, but to you they will appear real in your mind.

So that argument won't work. You haven't shown any evidence on why you are not just a brain in a vat, except a faithful assumption. Seems like "scientism" takes a shit here and science isn't all powerful...oh well

@ThePrayerHotline the difference between you and I, and god is that there is independantly verifiable evidence that we exist.

i.e. if i ask my friend to read this. he can see the same exact evidence that i see.

since we were talking about the existance of god, it would be irrelevent to talk about where he does NOT exist (my mind) but where he does, (your mind)
