The US constitution declares treaties to be supreme law of the land, yet the government broke every one of them. I'm not a Lakota, but I sure am all for them, and eveyone else who got taken advantage of. Just hope they live up to the great examples of Sitting Bull, Crazy Horze, Red Cloud and the other great mean...heres to dignity, freedom, justice and peace, for all, everywhere.

I hope I live to see your peoples get the black hills back. I hope I live long enough to get enough money to buy back my ancestors home.
The dominant society here thinks that, like them, we have to look that up on ancestry.com and go find it in a library.
Many Blessings to your peoples.

Why is Obama spending billions of dollars on global poverty when the Lakota Sioux is living in poverty right here in the US. How much of a change has he really made. When he was just a senator his wife was earning $900.000.00 a year in a
non-profit hospital. I believe the change was only for him not the native.

Oh really, is that so, huh?!
So I guess with that kinda logic france, Britain and most parts of europe should be german now, and under the rule of a fashist nazi-leader, because they couldn't really protect their land against the Nazis if the americans hadn't helped them! same happend to the natives, only they didn't have anyone to help them, until now! and just in case you're wondering, I am both, of native american and german decent! and I help and support my brothers and sisters on the rez!

...it is about culture... a culture that lives with mother earth..not just on her and off her as does the Dominating Society who continues to breed ignorance and hate... do not mistake humble beings for naive ones...
