the risk are of overheating graphics (depends of what you overclock) the flikering happens when you overclock too much the graphics card the only thing you have to do is to replace the small baterie in the mother board its called cmos

@r0b0kar Yep to clear cmos you just remove and replace the small battery.

if anything bad happens you take the small battery out of the motherboard to reset it.
