Difficult Questions - Bilal Philips

Have you ever wanted to give dawah to your non-Muslim friends but didn't know where to start? Has Islam ever been attacked in your presence without you being able to defend it? Have you ever dreaded being asked about Islam & polygamy, arranged marriages, Hijaab ..... or questions such as "Was Islam spread by the sword"?, "If God is good then why did he create evil"?, "Why are two female witnesses equal to one male witness in Islam"?. If the answer to any of these questions is YES then the Ultimate Dawah Course may be what you have been looking for!

Take a seat with Bilal Philips who will take you through the A-Z of giving dawah including how to answer some of the most difficult questions that can be thrown at you. Bilal Philips is one of the most active and well known speakers around the world having written many books encompassing a wide spectrum of Islamic subjects. He is a very experienced Daee through whom, during the first Gulf War, Allah guided hundreds of foreign troops to Islam. Also included in this dawah course are many revert stories including that of Bilal Philips.

This Dawah course is normally taught at the Qatar Guest Centre for Islamic Information and we are able to provide you with their detailed and extensive set of course notes with questions, assignments and exercises. Please download these notes from our website: www.ahlussunnah.net

  • Of all the things I've learned about the life of Allah's Messenger (SAWS) this is the first one I've had an issue/concern with. The explanation given does not help in alleviating this concern. A child is a child in my book. I guess I don't have to agree...Allah (SWT) and his Messenger know best.

  • This is a problem because shaytan will use this and lead you astray. The thing is what were the prophet's intentions when he married? Did he like little girls? Aisha is the only virgin he married. Did the kuffar of his time have a problem with this, and use it against him? No, but they did have a problem when he did other things that went against ttheir "culture", like marrying Zaynab. Which is a commandment in the Quran to him. And his marriage with Aisha is from Allah aswell. Clear your doubts

  • You speak of written discreprancies. Kindly state them with regards to Islam. What he is saying is that as soon as a person has developed the ability to reproduce it is permitted for him or her to do so. This is the natural law. Were we to only have sex at 16 or 18 then our Creator would have had us reach puberty at that age. However, that is not the case.

  • Imagine a young lion developing the ability to reproduce and then waiting 5 years to do so. That never happens in nature. What does happen is once the lion develops the ability to reproduce it does so. That is the natural law. Now humans once they develop the ability to reproduce they have the right to do so then and they have the right to delay it a day a month a year or years.

  • Shukran for uploading this entire serious. I found it very helpful. May Allah reward you. I'm always confused as to why non muslims search for Islamic videos on youtube only to watch and make negative comments about islam. May Allah guide them.

  • I think you are old enough and you play video games

please listen again to BILAL and what she became afterwards .

    thanks anyway .

  • @dln3472 akhi Aisha RA was not a child when the prophet married her she was an adolescent. Open a medical dictionary up and a child that has undergone puberty is then an adolescent another name for teenager. Americans make problems about this but in 1812 is when the law was passed that a bride must be atleast 14 before that it was younger.

  • @TribeofShabazz He never said that

  • @someoneincanada Listen to Dr Zakir Naik for more precise and concrete explanations. May Allah guide us to truth !

  • Philips uses the 'cultural relativism' argument ie that marrying pre-pubertal children was normal in Mohammed's day and so wasn't regarded as paedophilia, so by implication it would be regarded as that today. Sounds very plausible until you remember that Philips himself advocates old men like him marrying girl children (see 'Undercover Mosques' Channel 4 'Despatches', Jan 2006). So what does this make Philips.

I think this man should forget religion and preach about what he knows (ie nothing).

  • This man talks for ever and ever about every topic you can imagine. Why can't he try to be succinct?

Many of us have had a bellyful of Islam.

  • Thanks alot for uploading the video it really clears lots of misunderstandings...

    Cheers

  • @iamnotwrong obviously you didnt watch anything , because you would have known that saying om** is a big sin
