    I was there. I'm in my forties. We all have romanticized our childhoods into this perfect time, but it wasn't. I had a great childhood with great parents and friends, but it had nothing to do with the prevalance of Avocado Green appliances, porn moustaches and guys with jeans so tight you could see their pee holes. And you're a laugh riot if you think there were no drug addicts in the seventies. Sounds like YOU weren't there, honey.
