HungryText is a simple and intuitive mobile service that allows restaurant goers to place a pre-order via mobile SMS (text) message and pick up the order directly when they arrive at the restaurant, either eating at the restaurant or collecting the take-out, without waiting in line or for the food to be prepared.

HungryText prides itself on its stand-alone usability as a mobile solution. Unlike some incumbent mobile ordering solutions in the market, online ordering service in HungryText is optional, and users can initiate the service from anywhere, anytime. Restaurants can benefit from the service through mobile marketing to their registered customers and profitability tracking. The intuitive solution increases productivity and serving capacity for the restaurant, thereby enhancing their customer experience. In terms of technology, our web-based delivery model offers a highly scalable solution where our clients can access the application across the Internet without the need for hardware purchase or installation, which can in turn minimize their upfront cost and lower the adoption barrier.

Behind HungryText is a passionate team based in Stockholm. We are targeting the quick-serving restaurant market in Europe and we are currently looking to establish in Sweden. Our vision is to be able to save people of their precious time, especially those who find themselves routinely waiting in line in the restaurants. We hope to see ordering food via SMS becoming a thriving trend and part of peoples lifestyle in the near future.
