These dolphins were rescued from fishermens nets off the coast of Japan, they had to be nursed back to health and rehabilitated and we were told that they cant be returned to the wild due to underlying issues. I do not support the capture of wild dolphins for the use in dolphinariums.

Keeping such magnificent creatures in captivity is a difficult choice to make but what is worse is that there are Nations which still allow the brutal slaughter of tens of thousands of dolphins each year The Cove, Japan.

  • @iHeartKyu dude they PURCHASED their dolphins from the Taiji dive fisheries. U call that rescue? I call that supporting the SLAUGHTER. Non profit my ass. Go find the actual percent of annual profit that marine parks actually donate to conservation groups. It's practically nothing.

  • These dolphins do look well cared for, (Can't force a dolphin to perform, usually they will only perform if they are healthy.)

  • @iHeartKyu Dolphins are so smart that I often wonder if they feel that they have the "trainers" trained instead. I'll bet they co-operate because they're just naturally playful & social. But yeah, they can't force a dolphin to perform. If it doesn't want to then it won't.

  • where is the shark

  • @AaronEatsBabies You can't force a dolphin to perform, even the trainers know that. The dolphins can perform if they are willing to co-operate, nor are they doing "tricks" for food. They get fed by schedule and weight of how much they eat.

  • theyre in very good care! so really dont be talkign shit about the aquarium, you dont know what its like, you dont work there, and yes they are NON profit and no one makes them do anything. All the staff/volunteers care about all they animals, they get fed on a schedule no matter if they perform or not. so please, shut up.

  • @AaronEatsBabies Yes but a dolphin can get full cant it , and if I know anything from working at the shedd is that a full animal isnt a coopertive animal.

  • @Kyofighter93 You sure can, by making it the only possible way for them to get food.

  • @AaronEatsBabies dude you cant force a animal to perform. If they dont want to do something then you cant make them do it. As for the non profit that I dont live in canada so yeah whatever.

  • Poor animals, rescued in taiji, wow, how nice a live in captivity:((((((
