  • whats that noise?

  • there is a high-pitched noise from the controller, common in the higher voltage range. i am not sure if that is the noise you are referring to.

  • I just wanted to clarify that what you have is actually a "Sebring" and not a "Sterling" . They are cousins but in fact are different designs. But this is a totally sick project. I have been re-building my sterling for a bit, but have gone for Subaru STI power not electric. Best of luck with the build!

  • it is a sterling. body number is true. they are very similar cars. there is interesting stuff on the web about the cars. in europe they are called nova. the cimbria is also similar. all are based on vw chassis but there are all types of power and even custom tube chassis. thanks for the comments.
