@Sieffadiddle dude te band that played atlantas drumline in the movie was a high school band. now morris brown is a real school. sure it wasnt perfct but they dont have time to be perfect. they have to much music to learn.

@Sieffadiddle dude the movie was based off of a HBCU bands and there drumlines. even the HBCU bands in real life hated the movie cause it actually didnt show what all they do in practice and performance. the onlly thing real about that movie ere the schoostat were in it except for atlanta a&t caus that was a high school band from atlanta playing them along with the actors. now morris brown is a real school as well as the other schools you saw in the battle of the bands scene in the movie

@tubaatlarge Ha. Mabey if you were actually a drummer you would understand how insulting this movie is. Sure, the director wants catchy beats and a cliche story line to make sales, but its at the cost of the public's perception of a "good drumline"..which according to this movie is super easy but DIRTY cadences.

"DRUMLINE" is absolutely the worst representation of professional quality college drumlines. They play the easiest things and are still extremely dirty all of the time. Lets see Atlanta A&T or Morris Brown battle with MSU's Drumline...they won't feel so cocky after that. lol
