Story of Judson

Judson was a vibrant, bright boy who had complete and normal function of his body until 29 months of age. At the end of May 2007, Jud’s body began to unexpectedly and rapidly deteriorate. In less than 5 months he became fully paralyzed, blind, mute, and unable to swallow. It was discovered in July 2007, during his illness, that Judson suffered from Krabbe disease: a rare, genetic, incurable leukodystrophy. This video depicts our beloved boy before the onset of Krabbe along with the clips that show the destruction of the disease on Judson's small frame.

i am in tears right now. this is heart wrenching :(

horrible for poor judson to slowly have to watch and listen, feel, taste his world disappearing.

and for the parents to have to watch him grow so far and so quickly deteriorate.

i am so upset right now :(

This was really inspiring on both sides. Although he was ill, it never wiped away his smile nor did his parents give up on him but gave him the best of life. xx R.I.P Judson.

Y aún así se me exige creer en dios... miren: una posible criatura productiva, llena de posibilidades, inteligente, hermosa... pero si existiera un dios ¿cómo es que permite que delincuentes ociosos y destructivos crezcan y se desarrollen en sus entornos conflictivos, para dañar más a la sociedad?. hello my son dylan he was 3 months old when he got the first sines of the krabbe al the things your son did when he get this desies my son had it 2 he past away on 4 may this year he was 10months en 10days old when we said good bye

This video completely broke my heart and i was in tears by the end of it. He was so happy, even with his condition. What an amazing kid.. i'm so so so sorry he didn't get to live his life to the fullest. I wish i could just give him and his family the biggest hug... This touched me more than any video i think i've ever watched...
