What Car? Reader Test Team members give their views on the Range Rover Evoque

Read the What Car? Range Rover Evoque review http://www.whatcar.com/car-reviews/land-rover/range-rover-evoque-4x4/summary/...

The Range Rover Evoque backs up its concept car looks with a grown-up driving experience. It's the leaner, trendier Range Rover we've been waiting for.

It isn't as practical or as green as some rivals, and there's too much wind noise at motorway speeds.

  • Santa Baby, just slip it under my tree, I have been a lota of good girl this year!

  • What a vulgar car. I can just picture the customers: Hot tubs, designer clothes, shopping malls, holidays in Ibiza, fake tans, flash mobile phone, kids called McKenzie, Britney & Tyler, wrought iron gates with their initials on them, wife with bleached hair with dark roots, bloke in track suit bottoms, football shirt & tattoos, lager drinkers. Ewwwww! Tacky!

  • dream car for mi....

  • @TheOmnibot LMAO, Ive been driving this car with Landrover for months. You know nothing at all, It actually can do the majority of what a D4 can do. Yeah sure it doesnt have low range or air suspension etc etc but it does handle 500mm of water easily, and can go up and down a 1 in 1 bank with ease. Out of the deliveries so far have you seen many complaints.................Thought not. Again "what car of the year" and the US has taken 40000 orders in its first two weeks of opening.

  • The car is cool, the only problem I see is that the price is too expensive for what it offers. Better get a LR4 instead.

  • dear santa...

  • I have had a Freelander 2 SE TD4 now since early 2008, and the only thing that has broken was a brake fluid leak caused by wreckless off-roading (going too fast on the extremely poor condition "road"). Also, had a Discovery 2 TD5 for 9 years before and only had an oil leak and a loose rear light that could never be fixed properly.

  • The design gets a 9/10 from me

  • @TheOmnibot.....how do you know it's a pile of junk - do you have one? Didn't think so....nice spouting off about what YOU don't know anything about....

  • NIce critiques.
