Very nice video. Thanks! Only thing I would suggest is explaining the purpose for the vinegar and salt instead of just telling us to do it.

I do wish the tutorial mentioned how on earth to get the eggs off the now-soggy paper towel.

I never used the vinegar until my husband did it. I think it does make a big difference in how they cook up

I'm not sure about the salt, but the addition of vinegar helps the egg white to wrap around the yolk. I've tried it without vinegar but I've had better luck with vinegar. A teaspoon of vinegar to three cups of water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt seems to work the best for me.

what's the reason for adding vinegar and salt?
it'd be helpful if the video also told us why we should do things (instead of just telling us to do it without explanation)

Just cannot stand the way the eggs were being cracked :(
Crack on flat surfaces!
I never use any vinegar. Just get spoon and start swirling the water and drop eggs into the centre and they stay in one piece. I've never tried doing more than three this way, but I dump them all in at once and it's not a problem.
