One of the most awesome parades around! So many terrific costumes, dancing, unicycling, juggling, stiltwalking - it's better than the circus! This year the theme was Dreams.

Really love this vid. It captures the essence of the celebration. My friend Darryn is even in it. He's the guy with wings wagging his tail. Pretty sure that's him. Hope to see it in person next year. Screening a 10 min movie about Brazilian culture in LA and a 20 min doc on Venice's recent wave of gentrification at the Abbot Kinney Festival after party on Abbott Kinney Sept. 24th 6-10pm in Robin's Sculpture Garden.
