This is the mass detention of spectators and marchers well after the anti-RNC march ended. Police corralled them onto Shepard and refused them entry to the top of the bluffs at every exit, the only way to get to the other side of the river where Atmosphere and other oblivious musicians talked about freedom as people on the other bank were laid down on the grass and detained. About 200+ people detained. About 100 arrested.

lol, everyone's ignoring them, at least that's how it seems from this camera angle. I wouldn't put my hands on my head unless they have a gun pointed at me at close range or they tackle me down. I wouldn't be doing anything wrong to be arrested, not saying that means I won't be. I'd be laughing, ya ok they're gonna arrest thousands.

Obviously the broke some law, just because you are on a so called protest* or have many friends with you, gives you authority over the law.

What was with that cop trying to shoo the camera away all the time, whenever I tried taking pictures that day I got shooed also. Were these people the "trouble makers" or what? whats the back story?
