I recently created my first flying saucer using Sketchup. I have created several video versions of the test flight. This is the first and original version. I am placing it here to show how easy these are to create. This video was created in a single afternoon. I put some music to it so I guess you could see it as a music video. I tend to think of it as a fun afternoon project. I hope you enjoy the flight..... Thanks
Cool video. About halfway through, I was thinking "OK. It's going to be the same all the way." but the music kept me listening and it turns out the ending is really cool.
What did you use for animation, and who plays this song?

Thanks, I had a lot of fun playing with this. The video was a rainy Saturday project. I always loved the old movie "The Day The Earth Stood Still". So, I created the starfields using Paint and Vegas Video (old version 6). I Created and animated the Saucer using Google Sketchup (The Free Version) And then overlayed the Saucer on the starfields using Vegas. I used an old warp clip I purchased years ago to the end of the video for some color. I created the music. Glad you liked it!

Hmmmm...That is a little complicated. I doubt I can explain it in less than 500 characters. Much of it was created in a beatmapper program called Acid Music. It's like a keyboard with 20,000 keys. Just play the right keys and you get music. Play the wrong ones and you get noise. It helps if you understand how to read music. Do you want more detail, or does that answer your question?
