  • Good question. You plant Once, then the strawberries multiply by themselves. Making a great investment for future gardening.

  • @phantom7988 so when they multiply do you just let them be or do you have to separate them and replant them... caz i had like 3 starawberry plants but i can see that on is big and right next to it there's a fourth plant that's growing rapidly and it's still connected to the big plant. what do i do..? thanx :)

  • @phantom7988 - Some types don't produce runners properly like Alpines and Musk. If you weight down a new shoot of Alpine it will form roots then you can seperate it from the main crown, wait a week for it to catch its breath then transplant it. Also, you should kill off all strawberry plants(no matter what variety) after 2 or 3 years or the yield will diminish and disease set in. I grow Hokowase, Aiberry, Musk, and two types of Alpine; Alexandria and Golden Wonder.
