Hey Swan.You dont know me myname is DeAsia and im an apiring songtress. I knew Ulysses Slaughter very well. He was my vocal coach at holy trinity baptist church in brooklyn. He was a positive influence in my life. If i had never met him i wud probably be in the streets getting into trouble. He will be missed dearly. I just wanted to thank you for using your beautiful voice to pay tribute to him. i hope to see you perform one day.

I remember Two Steps Down with Mickey & the rest & her singing about Wesley Snipes! OMG that takes me back. He gave me such encouragement. I miss him.

I had the privilege of meeting him bout 17 years ago at 2 steps down open mic on Monday nights. Such good times we had with Ms. Miche Braden. Damn those where the days. We sing, dance have church and fun. I will dearly miss him. Meeting him changed your life.
