Can I include "to go" in the sentence? When I order in McDonalds, I always say "Can I have a Big Mac to go?"

i think "Tennai de" is more common in cafes than "kochira de"... most common i hear is "tennai de omeshi agari deshouka"

so why would they need to know if it's for there or to go? do they put the coffee cup in a bag if it's to go? lol
