Well the past is the past and I'll respect those guys. My bad. But to be fair, Kelly is the focus of that style right now with Brady taking his plays out in NE and doing it decently but not as good as Kelly himself.

The main issue I still see is Florida being #2 in the BCS rankings for some stupid reason and the country still not respecting Oregons style of play.

I didn't say anything about Oregon in my comment, so maybe you meant to reply to someone else? BTW Kelly didn't create the spread offense. Perfected it maybe, but Mouse Davis was running it in the '80s and called it the run and shoot. I think a high school coach from Ohio named Glenn "Tiger" Ellison created it either in the '60's or '70's.

Depth doesn't matter as much as you think. I'm a scout for a high school and even though I've only been doing it for 2 years, its more about picking the best guy, and then making him work for you through coming up with really smart plays. Like the spread offense. Don't get me wrong it's important, but not that important.

The only thing worth comment on your comment is the first sentence. Yeah he did all that, but do you think anyone but maybe, and I use that term loosely, maybe, Alabama can do anything against Oregon?? Chip Kelly CREATED the spread offense and perfected is in the early 2000s. In fact Tom Brady and the Pats are finally trying it and winning easily now. No one can do anything against Mariota, DAT, and Lyerla. Kelly is the one baking that whole cake and it's sweet baby!! Go ducks!!!

cry me a phuking river. If if and buts were candy nuts we all would have a merry christmas. You did not go to a bowl game for I stand corrected, not 11 years in a row, but more like 12 years, then tumberville comes in and you dont go to a bowl. you have to be phuking kidding me, boo hoo on your 12 surgeries, if coaching counts, then next man in and you win the game through good strategy. Tumberbut does not have as good of strategy, that is why he broke your 12 year streak, because he sucks!

If you paid attention to tech last season we had 18 surgeries throughout the year. By the time we beat OU it was downhill after that due to injuries and lack of depth we didnt win a game after that. The lack of depth was due to Coach Leach not recruiting as well as some of Leach's recruits not panning out and leaving the program. Last season after injuries we had wide receivers playing Cornerback not a good recipe in passing big 12 league

Dude, he sucks becuase he took you to NO bowl game for the first time in 11 years last year! Come on man, you don't like bowl games I guess. You logic is ass backwords son. Instead of lambasting his players, Leach should take the blame for this loss. He passed up an easy field goal and came away with no points and refused to milk the clock in the fourth quarter. He also helped CU by calling a timeout during CU's final touchdown drive. Should have used a timeout when he had 15 men on the field instead (still had one). Leach just can't beat CU as bad as they've been the past few years.
