    People back then had standards. Unless you were a hobo or a janitor you dressed like you gave a damn about yourself. Sometimes even the janitors and hobos would try and look presentable. We've fallen a long way.

    The sound "effects" are lame and pathetic. This film must have been uploaded by a virgin no bathing subway buff. This was originally a silent film.

    The train in this video did not sound like today's trains. They sounded more like the old streetcars and interurbans they had back in those days.
