Banana Boats!

My Banana Boats float! ‹(•¿•)›

To make a Banana boat first slit open a banana, and gently scoop out the banana and eat it. For a fabulous banana recipe see this video http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nrt9fofreao, then leave the banana peel to dry by hanging it over the top of a bottle and leave it for maybe 3 weeks. It will go hard and black and not turn into the slimey mess that you think it might.
When it's ready insert 2 little sticks, i used a lollipop stick cut in two

Banana boats look like lots of fun ... I wish I would have known about that when I was younger coz I loved to make crappy paper boats and following them down the river. These boats would be way more fun :o) Since I am a man (don't know if you have the same saying but we say here "the child in the man", haha) so it still can happen again, haha.

Oh do make some banana boats! They take about a month to really dry out and go hard but worth the wait!

They are really pretty good!! :) With that music, they turn into like canoes in my mind's eye and I can see them being paddled down a river...but that is just my poetess mind chitter chattering away...lol...Fun video - liked it!! Sunbeam :)
