Yes, he talks about the changes compred to the previous generation. He also says that VFR is a bike in a class of his own without real competition from other bikes... it gives to the rider an extreme pleasure specially in "curvy roads"...
A bike that can be used for big trips or in everyday life... a great partner for a lot of "asphalt" :)

Well maybe not as sharp as rc30 but hell im not rich!

hey people, recommendation is to drop the forks through 10 mm and put a 22mm spacer in the shock. it improves the handling by a surprising amount.

This is Portugal, my friends haha

Wonderful bike. I had one of these for a couple of years and it performed brilliantly.
I do however, prefer the FR-FV 750 models with less weight and in my opininon, better styling. Honda destroyed the VFR line with the hideous camchained VTEC - shame! Less said about the 1200 the better!

You're right, but the unlike the '98 the 2001 also
has a catalytic exhaust and smaller header pipes.

Besides my 99 VFR, I just purchased a new Suzuki B-King. Faster then the VFR of course, and handles very well, surprisingly also at parking lot speeds. But the VFR is still my favorite for SOUND and feel as it winds up. The bikes compliment each other, not detract.
Don't know what he was saying, but it had to be ALL good, right? I have a 99 and it just has to be the best bike in the world. I see that wherever they filmed this, it looks almost identical to the overlook of San Francisco they use to film so many commercials.

Filmesd in Lisbon and Almada (Portugal). The bridge looks like the Golden Gate in SF and the Christ looks like the brazilian one in Rio de Janeiro in Corcovado.
