Ocean City Maryland Mesocyclone Storm rolls in with Tornado watches for the area!

This storm rolled over Ocean City Maryland on July 30th 2009 at 40 to 50 MPH catching everyone off guard. There were tornado watches for this particular storm but its un-clear as to whether any had materialized. Thanks to Bev and Mark M. for taking the Video during their stay at the beach and for giving the video to me to post it on Youtube!

Of course it's moving fast!! It's called a low pressure system and they move very fast....cover small areas.....and gives a great amount of pericpitation! It's not crazy! It's just part of nature!

That hotels on 5th street! I stayed there last year! Comfort in Boardwalk I do believe.

I understand convective thunderstorms, but I would not just stand there and watch something that huge that I can't see under just roll over me like that, just like a tornado, hail is also dangerous, just look at what it can do to your car, people need to be more care, take cover and then determine if it is a dangerous storm.

ah i rembember wheni went to ocean city in 2009 i left 1 day before this happened i got lucky but ocean city was fun i liked it.
