  • @shovelsongs Thanks for saying that. Im surprised of how much followers Charleys got now. Bill Wayman of the Rolling Stones says he was Great for his time but not much for our time. What kind of a statement is that?????? But Heck What does the Stones know about rhythm.?? But still all respect nobody has done more do help these old timers music get popular than the Rolling Stones.

  • the guitar on this, especially that little hoppity stuff starting after about 2:44 is so understatedly brilliant and a testament to his genius, not that his genius is in question

  • Only ever heard 'Mississippi John Hurt's' version before. This is great!
