On our first day ashore from our Silver Wedding Cruise on Celebrity Infinity we took a float plane trip to Misty Fjords with Taquan Air.

Exactly, the west coast of the south island and that part of Alaska are very similar, must be all the rain, makes everything misty and lush!
When are you coming out?
I haven't got my licence yet but hopefully will by the time you guys arrive :) I think I'm up to my 5th lesson ... So much fun!

Hi, it was a great trip, we did a Celebrity Infinity cruise and also visited Icy Straight Point, Hubbard and Juneau. I did another vid of the whales off Icy Straight if you want to look at it. Funnily we are off to NZ next year and Milford Sound reminds me if Misty F. Cant wait to go!.Well done on your licence. bw Pen

I swear it must be the sworn duty of New Zealanders to claim their country is more beautiful than Southeast Alaska any chance they get.

It will be hard to beat Misty Fjords but it will be fun finding out!
