@garland531 In the realm of science, this is called "anecdote," not evidence. Just because you were misdiagnosed doesn't mean that there's a problem with autism diagnosis. I have a friend who was diagnosed with lung cancer, but later tests revealed scaring on her lungs from Valley Fever. Do you now believe that lung cancer doesn't exist?

@healthmusic Actually, it's very common for autistics to be good at art or music. It's also common for them to have an above-average IQ. I think the autistic and artistic genes tend to be inherited together, which is basically proof that aspies have always existed and been amazing, intelligent beings.

@2TJW it's not weird at all. actually, it's completely normal. aspies show to have a much higher IQ than neurotypicals on average. you've clearly been tricked into thinking AS is a disorder/disability. we all thought that at one point, i was once guilty of self-hatred because of it. but then i started doing my own research and found that the media is wrong about us. And they have all accomplished more than you ever will in your pathetic life, as will all autistics who are not tricked into self-hatred like most are today.
