@kenwithaK Try eqing out the lower end of the frequencies on the bass line then attenuating around where your kick is hitting and maybe the snares. another trick is touse side chain compression or ducking
i make e.d.m. on logic. when my bassline comes in, the rest of the track, especially the drums, seem to go down in volume, and i cant hear the high end of the bass sound. when i mute the bass line, the drums rise back up in volume. it's as if i have a really pronounced limiter on the main out channel. can some body help me?? does it have something to do with me using the sub-bass enhancer on the bass channel strip?
