Mr. Bojangles was born and raised right up the road from us. His previous owner travels for work and just didn't have time for Bo, so we had the option of buying this fantastic animal. We have had a family illness and now do not have the time that Bo deserves and must sell Bo. Our loss is your gain. Bo is an all-around awesome animal. He is out of a gaited jack and a registered TWH mare. Bo is a big, measured, 16.2 hand, 6 year old, solid black, john mule. He is stout built and can go all day. Bo has the best personality and disposition in the world. He is always very gentle and laid back. Nothing gets him worked up. He loves to be around people and is very sociable. There is not a hole one in this mule!!! Bo is super easy to catch and doesn't move a muscle to be tacked up. He even lowers his head to be bridled. Bo stands to be shod, clipped, and bathed. He jumps right in a trailer without any hesitation. He is not bossy out in the field and gets along great with other mules and horses. Bo is a dream to ride. He has a great, smooth, walk and running walk, and will also canter. Bo neck reins and direct reins whichever you prefer. He backs up very nicely and side passes. Bo has been used extensively on trails out through the woods and being rode down the gravel roads and even down the highways. He crosses water, ditches, logs, is 100% traffic safe, doesn't mind 4-wheelers or dogs, and has been used on our farm with the cattle. You can open gates off of him and we have even pulled sleds with him in the winter. Bo will also ride bareback, which a lot of mules won't do. With Bo's size, he will park out to make it easier for mounting and he will also lay down to be mounted and lay down while you are on him to make it easier for you to get off also. This mule has also been desensitized to tarps. You can drag a tarp all over him and he will walk over them and you can also crack a bull whip off of him. Bo will also ride double and you can pack anything on him. He has been rode a lot in the mountains of Wyoming and Colorado and was used for riding and packing out meat. He is absolutely not head shy or ear shy. For more info please email can_chaser_jms@yahoo.com or call 573.821.3077. $8500
