Fur-Life: Seattle Area Furries held its second-annual Halloween meet at Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood, WA and it was great fun entertaining the many children and families in attendance that evening.
This was the most enjoyable time I've ever had in suit, even more than Rainfurrest. There were many great costumes out that night, but all of the fursuits were very well-received and we really felt like stars!
I don't think I've hugged as many kids as I did Halloween night than I have all the other times I've been out suiting in public combined... and likewise the photo requests were nonstop as well.
But it was an absolute blast, and great to put lots of smiles on the faces of kids of all ages that night.
We started in the food court with plans to progress through the mall... we never made it out of the food court!

Heheh, the trick is to get the cops permission, just show some ID. ^^

it was on Halloween night, during the safe trick or treating time period. they said it was all malls across America with out exception. they said you cannot cover your face in a mall regardless of it being halloween

i have to ask it...how long did it take for you to get kicked out of the mall? cause last time this was tried with some former friends of mine we got kicked out, and shadowed till we left

Did you go on Halloween? That's the one day of the year that mall security is helpless against fursuits. That being said, some malls don't even allow full suits on Halloween either which is ridiculous. We have never gotten kicked out of Alderwood Mall, they like us there :) I would never try fursuiting in an indoor mall though outside of Halloween, without asking first.
